Ya'll know I'm always on the hunt for vegan designer shoes - hence the name Huntd, so I thought I would update you all with some of my most recent designer finds.
For a shoe to be vegan it means that it does not contain any leather, wool, fur, silk, suede or any other animal skin or hair. Pretty near impossible when it comes to designer brands right? ... Wrong! Luckily enough I've found plenty! Most come from the website Farfetch which allows you to search under vegan shoes and some have come from my obsessive search for the illusive vegan, 'needle in a haystack' designer find.
As many of you have seen in the last two weeks from snippets on my instastories, I have been undertaking a crazy Chinese Medicine Fast. I wasn't prepared to start it in the near future and was somehow thrown into it completely unprepared, the doctor explaining that my health couldn't wait for all the work, weddings, and events I had to attend (makes sense). In hindsight it was probably a good thing. If I went home and tried to plan out 2 weeks of my life where I didn't have a hectic work schedule, a dinner with the girls or an event to go to, I'd probably keep delaying it. Seriously, when is a good time to shut yourself in your home and not eat for 2 weeks?
Winter is winding down here in Australia, although lately it has already started to feel like Spring. That means that soon, our friends across the sea will be heading into their Autumn/Fall. A fashion piece that has been a constant in my wardrobe the last few months has been my incredibly cosy faux fur.
I started a YouTube channel!! I'm hoping to post lots of beauty videos, recipes, vlogs and maybe some hauls!
It was my birthday last week, so I challenged my boss Helani from Gather and Stitch to do a full face of makeup on me using only vegan products! I think it turned out amazing! Enjoy!

Sydney's really starting to feel the chill especially in the mornings and evenings. But we're still lucky enough to have warmer days which means that our jackets and coats can mostly be fun and fashionable without having to protect us from icy conditions like our friends across the pond.
Good cotton t-shirts have always been consistent in my wardrobe and lately there's been some killer designer ones floating around. A logo cotton tee to me means that I can indulge a little in a brand that I love, but not have to hurt any animals by buying leather shoes or bags.
So a year or two ago something hit me. It hit me like a tsunami, slapped me in the face. DUN DUN DUUHHH!! I am getting OLD. So 27 is not old at all. I get that. But gone are the days where I can waltz out of the house with eyeliner, mascara and not much else on my skin. In my teens I was lucky enough to have near perfect skin. Looking back on old clubbing photos from my partying days I had enviable clear skin with a smooth, dewy, even complexion and I probably didn't even know what foundation was. As the years passed, I think as a follow on from not wearing foundation in my teens and early 20s I was still blessed enough to get away with just some concealer under the eyes and on my chin to cover my hormonal pimple scars.
