[AUTUMN PICKS] Cruelty Free Picks For A Confused Autumn!

Hi lovely people! It's been a while between posts as I've been busy with work and a project that I will launch in the next couple of months!

If you live in Australia you may be experiencing the confused weather situation we are dealing with at the moment. It's meant to be Autumn/Fall but sometimes I go outside and it's either Summer or Winter (nothing inbetween) and sometimes the seasonal changes happen within the same day. I'm pretty sure this is the outcome of what they warned us about (and we ignored, like it was some sort of conspiracy theory) - GLOBAL WARMING.

[ETHIQUE 212] Vegan Brands I love!

I love discovering new vegan brands! Yes, there are heaps of brands out there that do not use animal products but there aren't that many that do it for the sake of animals. I also get excited when I find ethical labels who not only consider the lives of the innocent, but those who also care for the environment and the human lives they impact.

[SUIT UP] Manstyling 101

I've always been a bit more of a tomboy than a girly girl (in terms of fashion at least). I used to be the  girl on mufti days to come dressed up in my brothers baggiest jeans and Adidas sports jacket (in size XXL) - think 8 Mile. To this day, although my clothes fit much better, I still feel much more comfortable in a pair of pants than I do in a dress or skirt so when I can I try to dress up the humble trouser with something more feminine or some great accessories.

[LUXE] How To Shop Vegan Luxe

Giving up leather for me was an easy decision to make, but not exactly easy when put into practice. I can however proudly say it has been around 2 years since I've given up purchasing anything made from animal skin but I have had to make some fashion sacrifices along the way. However, over the years I have learnt a few things about getting my hands on some deliciously luxe, cruelty-free things, so if you love designer fashion but want to find some animal friendly options, keep reading.

[WATCH OUT]: Vegan Timepieces

A friend recently told me that she saw a watch she loved but then found out the straps were made from leather. Lately, I've been so pleased that my friends and family have approached me and started talking about vegan options and discussing the alternatives. When I first started this blog, all I wanted to do was inform my friends, family and readers about animal friendly options when it came to fashion as I found people just really weren't aware (much like I was a few years ago). Hearing my friend's frustration in finding out that the watch she really wanted was made from leather 1) made me incredibly happy knowing that there are kind and caring people out there that would love to avoid buying animal products and 2) gave me a fantastic idea for a blog post.

[TRENDING]: Suede Alternatives

Did you know that Suede is a leather? I didn't until I started looking into non animal products and materials. Suede is usually made from the underside skin of a lamb, goat, calf or deer as opposed to the tougher skin used for other leather goods.

[GIFT GUIDE]: 12 Cruelty Free Gifts That Give Back for Christmas

Can you believe that Christmas is less than 2 months away? Just let that sink in for a moment AND DON'T FREAK OUT!

I personally know that buying Christmas gifts for your loved ones year after year gets trickier as the years go by. Now thanks to the internet, giving a gift can be potentially awkward because after just a few clicks, one can see where you purchased the gift and how much you paid for it. But if you are truly giving from the heart it's all about the thought right?
